The 5th Annual Pork Roll Festival will be hitting downtown Trenton for a day full of food and fun on Saturday, May 26. Beginning at 10:00 am, the festival offers a variety of pork roll menu items and other delicious dishes from award-winning food trucks, restaurants, and caterers. The event also features live music and several pork roll-themed contests. Tickets to attend cost $5.

Largest kite festival in North America held on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Event begins on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event outside of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festivities following include opening of the kite sales tent, a Friday night social via the local kite club and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly. Saturday includes the silent and loud auctions (open to all) and Saturday & Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, sport kite demo’s, team flying as well as family games. Monday features the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. FREE to spectators.

Come join in on the outside fun and come bike with your point pleasant community! This fun event is open to ages 2-12 and the parade will begin at 11 as children do one lap around the park.

A weekly ceremony every Sunday morning to raise the casket flag of a Veteran to honor and remember ALL Veterans, held at the Lou Booth Amphitheater at 2nd and Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message at the most beautiful vista on the Jersey Shore. This location offers photo ops galore! The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as Veteran Casket Flags are not for all-weather. Cancellations will be posted within a half hour of the scheduled service on the Weekly Schedule page on http://www.SunriseOnSunday.com.

We are so excited to celebrate our 15th year! So much has happened that we need to share with you. We have reached our million dollars for research mark, are working with 7 Pharmaceutical companies going into phase 3 trials for IGAN, working closely with FDA and donated an additional $40,000 for research. Chances are if you are reading this, you were a part of making this happen.

The most exciting news is we have decided to partner with Nephcure Kidney International with intensions of a merger in the coming year! Lenny Erlanger, our CEO and my dear friend has worked with me on this much needed growth. As with any foundation in order to grow to the next level you need to rely on the experience of someone greater and Nephcure is a leader in the kidney space.

To celebrate all of these accolades we would love for you to come this year and celebrate our big 15! We have lots of fun and surprises planned for the entire family. This race supports The Burn Center at RWJ/Barnabas Health Care system, New Jersey’s only dedicated burn treatment facility. This state-of-the-art facility is one of the largest in North America, caring for patients of all ages.

 Each year more than 7000 individuals, including some of New Jersey’s firefighters receive  specialized medical treatment only available at The Burn Center.

USATF certified course. Race features a 3.1 mile two loop rectangular course starting adjacent to Bradley Park, goes south then north, ending near famed Asbury Park Convention Center. Enjoy spectacular ocean views while racing, with light refreshments at the Awards Ceremony

Gather your friends and come on out for our Wine & Chocolate Festival!  New Jersey’s finest wineries are back for another weekend of elegant wine tasting as are some of the area’s best chocolatiers and dessert vendors. Reserve your tickets in advance! Advanced tickets will be available here closer to the event.  So gather up your friends and family, sample from dozens of delicious New Jersey wines and finish it all off with the smooth taste of chocolate. The 1859 Cape May Lighthouse located in Cape May Point State Park, Lower Township, becomes a beacon of fun. Enjoy kid-friendly activities, performers, entertainment and unique crafts vendors at the base of the lighthouse.

The Rotary Club of Toms River Presents Sailfest! This FREE family event features sailboat races in the morning, crafters and vendors, great food vendors including food trucks, inflatable kiddie rides, BIG CASH 50/50, adult beverages for purchase, on site ATM, and more! Bike New York and the Highlands Business Partnership host the 18th Annual Twin Light Bike ride beginning at 7 am. Cyclists have a choice of five routes for all age levels along some of New Jersey’s most spectacular seashore and countryside scenery.

Online registration. Onsite registration opens at 7 am and closes at 10:30 am. Admission and parking are free. Fresh, local seafood and other culinary delights for sale at the post-ride festival and 15 plus restaurants to choose from in town. Great food, music and more!

The Jersey Shore Half Marathon has a history that places it as one of the oldest distance events held in New Jersey and the surrounding areas. Fun fact: The first Jersey Shore Marathon was held in 1972. Enjoy a National Recreation Park while challenging yourself to run a Half Marathon!
