Friday night features a ’50s Dance Party with New Jersey’s favorite oldies band, The Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 plus tax per person. A FREE street fair will take place at Fox Park in Wildwood on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, a Doo Wop Bus Tour, and live entertainment. In celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the Fabulous ‘50s & Beyond Weekend the Saturday night concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center at 7 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) is featuring the best entertainers from our last 15 years with Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Chubby Checker. Red Bank, NJ – The Monmouth Conservatory of Music is starting off its 2018-2019 concert season exciting faculty recitals and events. October 13th at 2 pm, come listen to the father and daughter faculty perform Italian works of the 19th century. Violinist Laura Petillo and Classical Guitarist Patrick Appello will perform solo and collaborative works by Niccolo Paganini and Filippo Gragnani.

Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue to Host 5th Annual Comedy Night & Gift Auction
On October 13th, 2018, Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue will host its 5th Annual Comedy Night & Gift Auction. All dog lovers and lovers of a great time are invited to join in the fun, while benefiting a great cause!
The event will be held from 7:30pm – 11:30pm at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune, NJ. Festivities include a one-hour open bar, plated dinner, tricky tray, silent auction and 50/50 raffle, followed by a night of laughs, starring comedians Chris Monty and Rich Walker. All proceeds benefit Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue, whose mission is to ensure each and every dog they rescue becomes a stable pet and matched with their best forever home.
Sunday. The Ocean Running Club’s 41st Annual Seaside Half Marathon, 5K and the Seaside Challenge will benefit the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Twp., the ORC Scholarship Fund, and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. A great fast and flat 2-loop course starts and finishes at The Sawmill on the Boardwalk. 5K begins at 8AM, Half Marathon begins at 9AM.
