experience that sweeps visitors along a journey through the splendor of space and time.
This odyssey through the beauty and forces of space is accompanied by a mesmerizing soundtrack composed of selected symphonic works by Philip Glass, echoing the immensity of the Universe in a spectacular transformation from the infinitely large to the infinitely small!
The Cape May County Park and Zoo’s annual “Boo at the Zoo” event will take place on Sat., Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Cape May County Park, in Cape May Court House. Sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholder, this event is free and open to the public. Visitors of all ages are invited to wear a costume to this fun family event, which includes activities for the kids, games, candy, entertainment, animals, inflatable obstacle course, pirate ship and more. A Costume Contest will start at 11 a.m., registration begins at 10 a.m. An awards presentation will follow the Halloween costume contest with exciting entertainment and our very own ambassador animals.
Spend a spooky day in Historic Smithville Village, and take part in the Zombie Walk. Show up already in costume or visit the shopping center’s on-site makeup artists. Live music and vendors round out the kooky fun.

Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween to the Wildwood Crest Pier parking lot, at Heather Road and Ocean Avenue. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars.
There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the vehicles with the best decorations. The event includes other Halloween-related activities, a DJ, and refreshments. The event is free, but vehicles must be pre-registered.
The celebration includes a Halloween-themed light and sound show, The Rocky Horror Picture Show “Time Warp” dance on the Boardwalk, giveaways, costume, contest prizes, and food, drink and shopping specials. Other mysterious surprises lurk throughout The Quarter and beyond. The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. on the Boardwalk and continue inside the resort from 9 p.m. until well past the witching hour.
