Join us for a trilling retelling of Washington Irving’s famous tale “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. Neill Hartley’s dynamic performance brings the tale to life. Audience participate is welcome. The performance takes place at the Allaire Chapel beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 per person.
The Historic Village at Allaire, the non profit living history museum receives no funding from the State of New Jersey and so relies on donations, admissions, and purchases made at the General Store and Bakery to continue teaching the public about life in New Jersey in 1836.
Join the horde of zombies and walk through the streets of Asbury Park in your best zombie costume/makeup. Though this event could be scary to some, it is family friendly and zombies of all ages are welcome to join the fun. The NJ Zombie Walk set the world record for the “Largest Gathering of Zombies” in both 2010 and 2013, and are hoping to break it again this October!

The two day event will feature live musical performances, games, amusement rides, and a beer garden for those 21 and older. The Screamin’ Country Jamboree will be capped off with their yearly Chili Cook-off and Tasting competition, featuring eateries from all over vying for your vote to be crowned this year’s champion!
On this Jersey Shore wine tour you will have the chance to visit two of Cape Mays most famous vineyards. Your tour will start with a shuttle to the first winery which is Willow Creek Winery where you will be greeted with light snacks while you are able to try all the different kinds of wines they have to offer. Next you will go to the Carriage House Cafe & Tearoom for a lunch. After that you will go to Natali Vineyards where once again you will be able to try all of the different types of wines they produce.
Session 1 runs from 12:00PM to 4:00PM and Session 2 runs from 5:30PM to 9:30PM. The Big Brew Beer Festival is a perfect opportunity for beer aficionados to meet and hang out. With over 200 unique tastings it’s a great place to discover new beers and speak to brewery representatives. Enjoy a fun filled time of great craft beer, music, food and entertainment! Each year, on Columbus Day, Delicious Orchards holds a special festival fun for all ages. This family friendly day includes Pumpkin Painting and Decorating, Fun Games, Antique Tractor Display, Live Music, and Free Food Samples. Pumpkin Fest is completely free and family-friendly, making it the perfect place to take the kids on their day off from school. In the case of inclement weather, they will stick with only food samples and move them inside to the store, where you’ll also find all sorts of seasonal treats and decor!
The Highlands Zombie Parade shambles down Bay Avenue in Highlands, NJ. Make-up artists are available at 10 am and you must be registered to join in the parade.

Begun in October 2015, Makerfest is an experimental, experiential, educational, and FREE annual community event. A celebration of creativity and imagination that’s part MythBusters, part science lab, part county fair, and part art studio. It consists of 70-100 maker booths, to LearningSpaces for workshops, an EdTalk stage, a Roborena, and — new for 2017– the first Jersey Shore Hackathon, the Toms River United Sustainability Team (TRUST) Green Fair, and activities supporting the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read of the post pandemic novel Station Eleven. Over 200 makers and 8000 attendees joined us in our first two years.
Foodstock is an annual food drive / music festival held in Freehold, New Jersey. Come to the event with non-perishable food donations and get rewarded with a picnic-style dinner with free food and drinks. Unlimited beer, wine and sangria are included for those who purchase a wristband for proof-of-age. You, along with any families or friends who help, are welcomed to come to the Party!
