Celebrate New Years Eve at the Wonder Bar with Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees. Doors at 8 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance, $28 at the door (plus applicable surcharges).
Sunday, 12PM to 5PM. Mark your calendar for New Year’s Eve and a family celebration with local businesses along the Boardwalk. Fun and games for the entire family! Fireworks at 5:00 pm.
Celebrate New Year’s Day at the Monmouth Museum. The kids will create noisemakers, hats, and masks and then have a parade through the museum. At 2 p.m. there will be a ginger ale toast for the New Year.

The Country Megaticket comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel right in time for the Holiday Season. The concert will take place on New Year’s Eve, and will feature famous country singers Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Aldean.

Oceanids are some 3000 nymphs in Greek mythology who watch over fresh water: rain, clouds, lakes, springs and rivers, as well as pastures, breezes and flowers. They are the daughters of Oceanus and Tethys. Coscia, the Chief Photographer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art has spent countless hours with classical sculptures, photographing them in various settings and seasons. He focuses on the qualities of light on sculpture in changing conditions, and the shifting effects of natural light on stone surfaces. His photographs of museum pieces explore elements of the art outside the context of the museum setting.
