This is the last week to see famous painter Sheba Sharrow’s work at Monmouth University in Long Branch. The event will close on December 3rd.

The Kids Holiday and Health Fair will give families the chance to experience holiday shopping, entertainment and health care information sessions, all under one roof. Taking place the same day as The Laurie Berkner Band’s performance in iPlay America’s Event Center, the Kids Holiday and Health Fair will feature doctors and departments from Hackensack Meridian Healthcare, local vendors to shop with, as well as live entertainment with Miss Sherri and Jason Didner and the Jungle Gym Jam – all taking place in Warehouse 100. Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite teddy bear and other stuffed animals for the Hackensack Meridian Health Teddy Bear Clinic! Have your cuddly friends checked out by the doctors and staff to be sure they are in tip top shape! This event is not to be missed!
Tuckerton Seaport rolls out the holly for the Annual Christkindlmarkt on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This is a family fun three day event with late night hours on Friday, celebrating the traditions of the season with a Holiday Market and Craft Fair under a huge heated tent and throughout the Seaport buildings. Come jump start your holiday shopping. Get in the holiday spirit with a horse drawn wagon ride.

Classes begin at 10am, 11am, 2pm, and 3pm with a fee of $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers plus $7 for materials. Sunday, December 3, iPlay America welcomes fan-favorite Laurie Berkner’s Holiday Show to iPlay America’s Event Center for two fun-filled performances. In her holiday shows, Laurie and her longtime collaborators Susie Lampert, Bob Golden and Brady Rymer — the “band” — will celebrate the season with such traditional, secular songs as Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman, plus originals from Laurie’s well-loved album A Laurie Berkner Christmas like Santa’s Coming to My House Tonight.
Come to the Thompson Park Creative Arts Center, Lincroft, and choose from a large selection of bisque fired pottery pieces to glaze and make your own. Children age 12 and under are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $6 per hour plus price of bisque ware; cash or check only. Pieces will be fired in about a week.
A production of the non-profit organization Jazz Arts Project, the Sinatra Birthday Bash is every December on or around Frank Sinatra’s birthday as a tribute performance to this American icon. This is the original Sinatra tribute concert in New Jersey and takes place each year at the historic Count Basie Theatre.

The first half hour of the event will give you the opportunity to do a wine tasting and get settled. The show begins at 7:30 and have the option to buy a bottle or a cheese board, but all guided tastings must cease during the show.
