Monmouth University will be hosting the “Black Maria Film Festival” this March 29th in Pollack Theatre. The festival was founded in 1981 as a tribute to Thomas Edison’s development of the motion picture at his laboratory, dubbed the “Black Maria” film studio, the first in the world, in West Orange, NJ. It is a free event and will start at 6:30 PM.

We will be at our Station 16 location on Friday Saturday and Easter Sunday 9 am until 5pm. Flowers available Easter Sunday Morning until sellout. We will have a beautiful assortment of Lilies, Hyacinths, Hydrangea and much, much, more. We use a local greenhouse for the freshest flowers. Back by popular demand, beautiful White Gardenias. I hear the Easter Bunny will be here so bring your camera.

Join us for one of our most popular events, our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Festival! A day of Easter fun for the entire family! This year we have over 10,000 eggs on the village green. Hunts will take place every 15 minutes between 11:30 am and 4pm. Children will be grouped according to age, into the following categories: 0-1 (with an assisting adult), 2-4, 5-7, and 8-10.
Pre-registration for this event is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; all members of your party must have tickets, not only the children participating in the hunt. Tickets are $6 per person, and children under 1 year old are free. Registration and Ticket sales begin in the Visitor Center (Row Houses) at 10:00am. Egg Hunt times are assigned to you at registration day of event.
Our Easter Egg Hunt & Festival includes the following activities for the day:
– Continous Easter Egg Hunts, with children grouped according to age.
– Storytelling with Clifford the Big Red Dog
– Visits and Pictures with the Easter Bunny
– Face Painting
– Balloon Animals

Visit the General Store to purchase an Easter basket and/or bonnet, visit our decorating station, and participate in our bonnet parade at 3pm! Prize awarded for best bonnet.
And don’t forget to stop by the bakery to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar. If you guess correctly, you win the jelly beans! And the jar! Winner will be announced at 3pm in front of the General Store.

Phelim McDermott returns to the Met staging Mozart’s comedy Così fan tutte, led by David Robertson. Set in the 1950s on Coney Island, the cast features Amanda Majeski as the conflicted Fiordiligi; Serena Malfi as her sister, Dorabella; Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara as their feisty maid, Despina; Ben Bliss and Adam Plachetka as the sisters’ fiancés, Ferrando and Guglielmo; and Christopher Maltman as the cynical Don Alfonso. Così fan tutte is a co-production with the English National Opera.
