Come to The Historic Village at Allaire Easter morning for an inspriring service at “The Chapel.”
Park Gates will open at 5:30 am; service will start at 6 am and either be held within the Historic Chapel or outside at the Gazebo. The event is FREE and OPEN TO ALL! Donations would be very appreciated to help fund the final phase of exterior painting and floor renewal at the Historic Chapel at Allaire.
We know it’s an early service (6:30 AM), but it is an awesome service! Walk from the Church parking lot to the “Garden” with a path illuminated by candles (luminaria). As we gently sing “Alleluia” to guitar, the black drape on the cross will be changed to white. Communion by Intinction will be served, the donor bricks will be dedicated, and folding chairs will provide comfortable seating.
Sunrise is scheduled for 6:40 AM, so the birds will be singing as they awaken to Easter morning. Warm hot cross buns and coffee will be served in the kitchen following the service. Please keep your fingers crossed for good weather. In case of rain, we will meet in the Sanctuary. (Wheelchair service will be provided upon request.
As a universal language, the arts have always been an effective tool for addressing social issues. Artivism or “activist art” is a form of social protest that explores cultural and political concerns. However, it is much more than just an innovative tactic, Artivism involves an entire a practice that attempts to inspire positive change in society. This juried exhibition will feature works of art that employ spectacle, symbolism and collective participation to fight for issues of social justice including racial discrimination, gender equality, fair labor practices, human rights and more. Maybe the time you are spending doing what you don’t want, prevents you from doing the things you do want. This Workshop is for anyone finding difficulty in transitioning from an “old life” into a “new one”. The secret is that you have to see your old life as an ending and your new life as a beginning. Seems simple, but have you ever really considered that the new life you now see facing you could actually be the start of something great? Come to this Workshop and let’s all meet and together figure out how divorce can bring you to a life you want! I hope you join us! Cost: $10.00. RSVP to mylifechangecoach@gmail.com. If you can’t come to this Workshop, message me for information about upcoming Workshops in your area.
