Looking to give back to your community?  One Red Bank business owner is taking action and is hoping to inspire others to pay it forward.

Salon Concrete owner Christine Zilinski is kicking off the event at her salon at 123 Broad Street in Red Bank on Saturday, April 9th from 7-9 PM.  Her goal is to inspire the Red Bank community and local business owners to be heroes in their own neighborhoods.

Zilinski says the evening was inspired by Hometown Heroes, a non-profit organization built on the idea of paying it forward. Salon Concrete is teaming up with local artist Jay Alders to announce the program to give back through an inspiring event that will match art with beauty as amazing hair creations  will be inspired by Alders art in a live performance.

There will be live paintings, demos on hair trends, live music and food and drink at this free event.  Businesses throughout the area are encouraged to attend, enjoy the show and learn how they can make a difference and build a better community while helping those in need. The event is free. For more information call (732) 219-6558.

Their announcement of this initiative in April is part of a bigger community event set for July 16th.
