The Wild Kratts LIVE! stage show that has kids across North America buzzing is coming to the Basie Center with an ALL NEW show: “Wild Kratts LIVE 2.0 – Activate Creature Power!” Get ready to dive into another classic Wild Kratts adventure with the Kratt brothers as they combine live action and animation, with Martin and Chris LIVE on stage and the rest of the Wild Kratts team on screen, at the Tortuga HQ. Which creature powers will they activate and what new and amazing ‘WOW!’ facts will you learn? Jacob’s Ladder improves the leadership skills of our youth by providing opportunities for development of leadership and self perseverance. We are encouraging our youth to emerge in STEM programs to help them become more college/career ready. Our scholarship dance will help support our efforts in sending our 50 kids, K-12, to those classes.
Come to Monmouth Museum to see physical therapist Yaffa Liebermann present “I Stand up Straight”. “I Stand up Straight” is a fun and educational picture book that teaches children correct posture through a memorable poem, beautiful illustrations, and easy to follow children exercises. Space is limited with only a 25 person maximum capacity.
Join us for one of our most popular events, our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Festival! A day of Easter fun for the entire family! This year we will have over 15,000 eggs on the village green. Hunts will take place every 15 minutes between 11:30 am and 4pm. Children will be grouped according to age, into the following categories: 0-1 (with an assisting adult), 2-3 (with an assisting adult), 4-5 (kids only, no adult assistance), 6-7 (kids only, no adult assistance), and 8-10 (kids only, no adult assistance). Each child can hunt for 6 eggs total. No more than 6 eggs will be allowed per child. Please realize the plastic eggs contain small toys not suitable for small children.
Pre-registration for this event is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED; We sold out last year prior to the event and expect to sell out this year again. No tickets will be sold at the door if event is SOLD OUT prior to the event. All members of your party must have tickets, not only the children participating in the hunt. Tickets are $8 per person, and children under 1 year old are free. Day of tickets will be $12 at the door if event is not sold out. Doors to event will open at 11am and the first hunt will begin at 11:30am. Egg Hunt times will be assigned to you once you enter the event with a ticket.

On Wednesday, April 24th there is the Wacky Science at the Monmouth Museum. The Mad Science special events are spectacular science-themed shows designed to amaze and entertain audiences.
Children will learn what a polymer is, watch the audience participant make an giant batch of slime, learn about static electricity, and more! Early bird registration is only $15.00 if you register on or before April 12th.
Come celebrate Arbor Day by learning how trees grow. Investigate the different types of trees that grow here in Monmouth County. We will then decorate twig tree crowns with different leaf shapes and colors we create. Wearing our crowns, we will pair up and create shadow drawings of ourselves as trees. The workshop will culminate in a group street mural, a larger chalk drawing in the museum’s Art and Nature Center of all of us as trees creating a temporary group mural! Children must be accompanied by a chaperone, one chaperone per child/group.
