Raceway Park’s Englishtown Swap Meet & Auto Show bi-annual event offers something for everyone. Whether you want to connect with other owners, look for hard to find parts and accessories, or just appreciate American classics and modified vehicles, this is the place to be!
Vendors, over 300 cars for sale, FREE parking for attendees. Sale merchandise consists of a wide array of parts, accessories and miscellaneous items.
General admission: $12/person each day; Children under 12 admitted FREE.
Gates open 7 am each day. Closes at 6 pm on Friday & Saturday. Closes at 4 pm on Sunday. Car Show registration 8 – 11:30 am enter through gate #4; Participant award goes to each entry.
Bike New York and the Highlands Business Partnership host the 18th Annual Twin Light Bike ride beginning at 7 am. Cyclists have a choice of five routes for all age levels along some of New Jersey’s most spectacular seashore and countryside scenery.
Online registration. Onsite registration opens at 7 am and closes at 10:30 am. Admission and parking are free. Fresh, local seafood and other culinary delights for sale at the post-ride festival and 15 plus restaurants to choose from in town. Great food, music and more!
The Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival is a great time for one and all and is fashioned after the 63-year-old Galway Oyster Festival celebrating the opening of the oyster season. It is a huge food and music festival which will showcase Red Bank’s excellent restaurants as well as entertain thousands with great live music and family fun.

Registration at the Wildwoods Convention Center at 8:30 a.m. (Pre-registration highly suggested.) Race starts at 10 a.m. and includes the following events: 5K Halloween Pumpkin Run; Kids Pumpkin 1 Mile Challenge (Pre-K to 5th grade); FIRST Timers 5K Run Challenge; and 1 Mile “Family” Pumpkin Walk. Proceeds benefit the Lunch with Lynch Foundation and the Education Foundation of Cape Trinity Catholic. Event is RAIN or SHINE! $25.00 for adults; $15.00 for 18 and under. All pre-registered participants will be guaranteed a Pumpkin Run T-Shirt! Costumes are preferred – prizes will be awarded for best dressed.
On the first Saturday of October, Asbury Park welcomes the largest gathering of the un-dead in the state!
Join BSB Gallery, along with the Trenton Downtown Association on Saturday, October 5th from 11am to 5pm (rain date October 6th) to participate in a live yarn bombing in Mill Hill Park in Trenton. There will be fiber artists, food vendors, children’s activities and live music. The Fiber Arts Festival is meant to highlight and connect knit & stitch/fiber communities and involve the public in this vibrant art form.

The Jersey Shore Half Marathon has a history that places it as one of the oldest distance events held in New Jersey and the surrounding areas. Fun fact: The first Jersey Shore Marathon was held in 1972. Enjoy a National Recreation Park while challenging yourself to run a Half Marathon!

The Annual LBI FLY International Kite Festival is returning for its fifth year! We are excited to welcome back our domestic and international kite professionals to participate in this weekend festival. This festival will run during Columbus Day Weekend, with many different events across the island. Mark your calendars and visit LBI for this fall weekend of flight!
Join us for Oktoberfest, that ancient German tradition of merriment, roller coasters, tilt-a-whirls, beer, pretzels and bratwurst! Jumbo’s restaurant will feature a special themed selection of Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst, German potato salad, schnitzel and more. On tap, guests will find a wide selection of beers and tasting flights to be enjoyed at an outdoor “biergarten” located behind Jumbo’s with live entertainment. Raise a glass and tap a tœ as bands play throughout the night on the main stage from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
Highlands Halloween Fest, live music, craft vendors, children’s activities and a Halloween Parade. Pre-parade, make-up artists will be available in Huddy Park at 10 am. Post-parade, there will be a best costume contest in Veterans Park. There is something for ALL AGES! Hope to see you there, you would be a “ghoul” to miss it!
