For one night only, beloved star of stage and screen, Tony Danza, will make his Grunin Center debut with his hit cabaret act, Standards & Stories.
Combining timeless music with wit, charm, storytelling, and a dash of soft shoe and ukulele performances, Danza is accompanied by his talented four-piece band. Danza performs a selection of his favorite standards from the Great American Songbook, as well as selections from the hit Broadway musical Honeymoon in Vegas (which he also starred in), while interweaving stories about his life and personal connection to the music.

When the guitar became electric, The Everly Brothers bridged the gap between country and R&B, creating Rock ‘N’ Roll that had never been heard before. The Fall Festival will feature arts & crafts, touch a truck, bouncy rides, a costumed pooch parade, a kids costume parade, and craft vendors! There will also be a DJ present the entire day as well as costume characters! The shops of Pier Village and Chamber of Commerce trailer will be participating in trick-or-treating so come prepared to bring home candy!

Freehold Food Fest features many of New Jersey’s top-rated food trucks, music, local vendors and a day of family fun, all for a great cause. This year, proceeds from Freehold Food Fest will be donated to The Graeme Preston Foundation for Life! The foundation is named for Graeme Preston who passed away 10 years ago following a tragic accident. Each year, the foundation donates money to local organizations and families through random acts of kindness. Come out Oct. 28 from Noon to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of iPlay America to enjoy fabulous food trucks and help a great cause. Admission is free, however donations will be collected at the gate for the foundation.

The 9th Annual Walk for Diane will take place at Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick, NJ. Registration is at 8am and the walk starts at 9am. The Amy Foundation welcomes individual walkers, their families, friends, and neighbors to join in this annual 5k Walk. The Walk for Diane begins and ends at Buccleuch Park located at the intersection of Easton Avenue and Huntington Street in New Brunswick (across the street from Saint Peter’s University Hospital).
A favorite October tradition for Belmar residents, the annual Halloween Contest and Parade brings out the kid in all of us! Children, infants through grade 8, can dress up and compete for prizes in different categories for their age group.
After the contest, the Belmar Elementary School Band strikes it up and leads the parade down to Pyanoe Plaza where the winners are awarded their prizes. Treats are given to those who register for the contest and a ghoulish time is had by all!
Join the fun at Monmouth University where clubs and organizations offer an afternoon of Halloween trick-or-treating, activities, and games! Paint a pumpkin to take home, enjoy games and activities with spooky prizes, and visit over 40 trunks sponsored by Monmouth’s Fraternity & Sorority Life and Student Organizations! Trunk-or-Treat is free, open to the public, and hosted by the First Year Service Project.
The event takes place in Lot 16, with parking for guests in Lots 13, 14, and 15 (enter campus from Larchwood Ave and follow the signs).

The exhibition includes oral histories presented on listening devices, interactive activities, artifacts, internet and print resources, and preparedness education.
Those involved in the exhibit spent much of the year collecting photographs and artifacts and conducting oral history interviews in order to allow all interested parties– from your average Monmouth County citizen, to scientists, to the County Freeholders — to recall the storm in their own words.
