The Metuchen Cookie Walk started in 2015 as a holiday fundraiser for the Fuccile Foundation, which provides financial assistance to local families impacted by tragedy. The premise of the Cookie Walk is simple: bake, buy, give. Cookie Walk attendees purchase either a small ($10) or large ($20) box(es) to fill with homemade cookies.
In 2015, over 5,500 homemade cookies were donated and sold. In 2016, the event grew to over 15,000 cookies and raised over $7,500 for the Fuccile Foundation and local families in need.
In what’s quickly becoming an annual Jersey Shore holiday tradition, the sixth installment of Santa For… events is stuffing your stocking with a night “of awesome music and offensive jokes” according to Brian Kirk. Designed to raise funds and awareness to help combat hunger, this three-hour jingle balling of a show boasts the comedic antics of Brian Kirk and the musical talent of the Jirks together with more special musical acts.
This event will be held at the Sea Oaks Country Club in Little Egg Harbor Township. Tickets will be $80 per person and include a sit down dinner, three hour open bar, and a live interactive show with four Murder Mystery Company actors. Dress for this night of murderous mayhem includes flapper dresses, zoot suits, feather boas and headbands, pinstriped suits and fedoras. If you aren’t feeling that jive you can dress as a private detective to help solve the crime, just don’t frame the wrong guy! This is sure to be a thrilling night while continuing to help the families of Ocean of Love.
