JERUSALEM U GLOBAL FILM SCREENING FOR

TEENAGERS & PARENTS:

“WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS: A STORY OF BROTHERHOOD, RESILIENCE & HOPE”

Teenagers and college students in the Temple Beth Ahm community (teens in Hebrew High School, USY, Religious School Aides, all other teen members of the synagogue), as well as throughout Monmouth & Middlesex County, are invited to commemorate Yom Ha-Zikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day) and celebrate Yom Ha-Atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) by joining teens from 53 other organizations across 4 continents in this Global Screening Day, an international film screening and Instagram campaign that is being coordinated by Jerusalem U.

This film tells the story of Israeli soldiers, including the sacrifices they make that change the lives of their family members and others.

Participating teens will have access to a global social media campaign that enables students to connect with other Israel supporters around the world.

The event, which is free and open to all teens in the community, is co-sponsored by Temple Beth Ahm and the Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ.
