Join the fun at Monmouth University where clubs and organizations offer an afternoon of Halloween trick-or-treating, activities, and games! Paint a pumpkin to take home, enjoy games and activities with spooky prizes, and visit over 40 trunks sponsored by Monmouth’s Fraternity & Sorority Life and Student Organizations! Trunk-or-Treat is free, open to the public, and hosted by the First Year Service Project.
The event takes place in Lot 16, with parking for guests in Lots 13, 14, and 15 (enter campus from Larchwood Ave and follow the signs).
The exhibition includes oral histories presented on listening devices, interactive activities, artifacts, internet and print resources, and preparedness education.
Those involved in the exhibit spent much of the year collecting photographs and artifacts and conducting oral history interviews in order to allow all interested parties– from your average Monmouth County citizen, to scientists, to the County Freeholders — to recall the storm in their own words.
