This race supports The Burn Center at RWJ/Barnabas Health Care system, New Jersey’s only dedicated burn treatment facility. This state-of-the-art facility is one of the largest in North America, caring for patients of all ages.
Each year more than 7000 individuals, including some of New Jersey’s firefighters receive specialized medical treatment only available at The Burn Center.
USATF certified course. Race features a 3.1 mile two loop rectangular course starting adjacent to Bradley Park, goes south then north, ending near famed Asbury Park Convention Center. Enjoy spectacular ocean views while racing, with light refreshments at the Awards Ceremony
The New Jersey Jeep Invasion is an annual all JEEP event held on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. The entire event is in the sand, just a couple hundred feet from the iconic 2-mile long Wildwood boardwalk, with over 300 rides and attractions. The New Jersey Jeep Invasion offers two and a half days of Jeep activities, access to the industry’s top vendors and an opportunity to play on our exclusive beach obstacle course powered by Rausch Creek Off-road Park. NJ Jeep Invasion also consists of a show and shine, which is judged by professional car show judges, and one of the area’s most impressive raffles full of over the top items donated from our amazing show sponsors.
The 2019 Ride to Defeat ALS, which begins and ends at Morey’s Adventure Pier in Wildwood, NJ, will loop bicyclists around scenic Cape May County and pass such attractions as a WWII sunken ship, Cape May Lighthouse, and local vineyards. Families with young children can opt to ride a 10-mile loop, while more adventurous cyclists can choose a 25-, 50-, 75-, or 100-mile loop. A colorful celebration hosted by Morey’s Piers will await cyclists as they break through the finish line. Festivities will include food, music, and FREE two-day passes to Morey’s amusement piers and water parks for June 15th and 16th. Proceeds from the Ride help The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter continue its support of vital ALS research, care services, and advocacy.
Event is held in Maxwell Field, located at Youngs and Park Blvd., Wildwood. The Drum Corps competition will feature the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps as well as other teams from NJ, PA & CT.
