The Linwood Arboretum, a pocket sized public garden with something in bloom every day of the year, has hosted visitors from around the world. The garden highlights worthy but uncommon plants that thrive in this area. We have collections of magnolias, hydrangeas, witch hazels, camellias, a bog garden and more.
Garden helpers of all ages and skills are welcome, there is always something to learn and do. Contact us through our web page or Facebook page for information about volunteering, visiting, tours and membership. Friends of the Linwood Arboretum meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6pm. The arboretum is open to the public every day, dawn to dusk.
GPK Auctions is proud to present the 45th annual Atlantic City Auction & Car Show. The auction has grown to be an annual three day event auctioning off over 400 cars in the spacious 500,000 sq ft. state-of-the-art Atlantic City Convention Center. Along with the auction, guests are able to enjoy a wide variety of vendors, a vast array of vehicles available for sale in the car corral, and the best casinos, restaurants, and shopping that Atlantic City has to offer.

The Atlantic City Black History Exhibit, located on the first floor of the Main Library, will be a mixture of photos and artifacts. Subjects that will be covered are Kentucky Avenue, Club Harlem, Chicken Bone Beach, black firefighters and police officers, and notable figures such as Pop Lloyd and Sarah Spencer Washington.
The exhibit can be viewed during normal Main Library hours: 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday and Friday; 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
Just because it’s winter time doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the beach! The winter months are some of the best times to go shell collecting. Take a guided walk with a Park System Naturalist along the beach, collecting and identifying some of the ocean’s natural treasures. Make sure you dress in warm clothing and bring along something to carry shells in. Meet on the beach.

Hippity hop on over to our cookie shop and learn how to ice and decorate 4 festive and delish cookies just in time for the Easter Bunny’s visit! As in all of our cookie workshops, Dani provides a step by step “how to ice” demonstration of each cookie, then each participant decorates their own version. Icing, decorating candy and all supplies included. Easter or other festive attire welcome! Children ages 6 and up welcome. Registration for this event will close Monday, March 26th. 12 spaces available.
Very Important: Due to room capacity constraints in our space, we are only able to accomodate cookie icers at our tables. For the adult & kids workshops we have very limited seatingavailable for adult chaperones at the coffee bar or along our hallway. If you are not icing cookies with your kids we ask that only 1 adult chaperone attend.
If you would like to be seated with other cookie icers who are registered under another name, please let us know in advance as we pre-assign seating for each workshop and can not accomodate last minute seat changes.
Our cafe will be open serving coffee, milk and cookies during the workshop. There are also many fun places nearby to grab a cocktail while the workshop is happening as well as many places to meet up for dinner afterward.
