Join the horde of zombies and walk through the streets of Asbury Park in your best zombie costume/makeup. Though this event could be scary to some, it is family friendly and zombies of all ages are welcome to join the fun. The NJ Zombie Walk set the world record for the “Largest Gathering of Zombies” in both 2010 and 2013, and are hoping to break it again this October!

Lindsey Stirling is one of the biggest artist development breakthrough stories in recent years. Once again the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce will bring the holidays downtown on First Saturday. The children from Alphabets Preschool will be singing your holiday favorites! Come see the 25+ foot tall tree in Press Plaza, and be there as Santa himself lights it.

The Rockit Live Foundation is New Jersey’s leading rock band program for young musicians, ages 8-18. Rockit, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, helps nurture, inspire and enrich the lives of young musicians through live music education partnered with the Count Basie Theatre in the heart of Red Bank New Jersey. Rockit also provides professional development and music scholarships while emphasizing the importance of community charity efforts. Rockit Advisory Board members, Maureen and Steven Van Zandt, Carmine Appice, Eddie Brigati, Jacquie Lee and Rich Russo lend their talent and support to a cause they keep close to their hearts. Rockit alumni having gone on to tour with Steve Vai, perform with Keith Urban, sing on Broadway and become finalists on The X-Factor and NBC’s The Voice.
