The mini-exhibit opening Holiday Weekend tells the story of our rural beginnings and traces the forces that transformed the Township from a farming community to a modern, high-density (2,497 people per square mile) suburb.

The Metuchen Cookie Walk started in 2015 as a holiday fundraiser for the Fuccile Foundation, which provides financial assistance to local families impacted by tragedy. In 2015, over 5,500 homemade cookies were donated and sold. In 2016, the event grew to over 15,000 cookies and raised over $7,500 for the Fuccile Foundation and local families in need.
