American Stand Up Comedian Jim Norton comes to the Count Basie Theatre on February 9th in Red Bank. Norton known for his comedy specials is also a best selling author and actor who has made quite a name for himself over the years. Come to Rumson County Day School to get training in a course designed to help young people with mental health issues. Traning will take place over two days, the first being Monday, March 5th AND Tuesday, March 6th.
“Young Mental Health First Aid” is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.
