Diavolo architecture in motion uses dance to portray the connection between the human body and its architectural environment. ROCKIT: Rockit Academy, The Count Basie Theatre’s resident rock and roll performance program, is helmed by the Rockit Live Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Rockit! runs four, seven-week programs per year, where kids aged 8-18 learn a specific repertoire of songs, supplemented with individual instruction. At the conclusion of their session, as many as sixty young musicians form separate groups to perform live on the Basie’s historic Asbury Park Press stage.

Come to the Asbury Park Convention Hall this April on one of Jersey’s most historic boardwalks for the Inaugural Catsbury Park Cat Convention! The two day event will bring together cat lovers and some of social media’s favorite felines alike! Informative sessions and seminars will be held by respected advocates and speakers on behalf of cat rescue, health and behavior, and cat related products plus innovative merchandise will be available to purchase from vendors.
Fun games like Cat Trivia, Cat Bingo, and the Cat Art show will be available for children 12 and under at the Convention Hall. However, tickets to these events MUST be purchased separately.
Children under 3 years old attend FREE.
Foster’s first round was as a studio musician, arranger, and recording artist. His second round was becoming one of the most successful songwriters and record producers in history — shepherding albums that have collectively sold in the hundreds of millions. This period of his four-decade career also found him creating The David Foster Foundation and volunteering his time and talent to over 400 charities, as well as becoming a household name as a performer throughout Asia where he tours annually.
For his third round, Foster is gearing up to take on Broadway with several projects. These include writing the music for a new musical about the iconic, animated character Betty Boop, which will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell. He is writing the music for a musical based on the Amy Bloom novel and New York Times bestseller Lucky Us, directed by Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller. Foster is also developing a scripted narrative one-man show based on the story of his career that he will perform himself.
