Pirate School excites and motivates students in grades K-5 with piratical fun while introducing simple concepts outlined in the Next Generation Science Standards. American Stand Up Comedian Jim Norton comes to the Count Basie Theatre on February 9th in Red Bank. Norton known for his comedy specials is also a best selling author and actor who has made quite a name for himself over the years. He has his stand up specials on streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu and HBO Go, but why not take this opportunity to get up off of the couch and see one of the funniest men in the country perform live this Friday night at Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank!
When his granddaughter Jenny comes for a visit, Farmer Brown declares the farm a “tech-free zone.” He confiscates her laptop, leaving it in the cold barn along with the shivering cows who use Jenny’s computer to type messages requesting blankets. Farmer Brown refuses and the cows go on strike. Will Farmer Brown give in to the animals’ demands? Will Jenny get her computer back? Find out in a hilariously “mooooo-ving” musical about negotiation and compromise.
