Performances will also feature the choreographic explorations of the studio dance course and original works by faculty members. Join us to see dance artists rising at Monmouth University.

Come see their presentation and discussion on their experiences and what was the inspiration for the hit NETFLIX series “Narcos.”

OCVTS Performing Arts Academy Dance Showcase

Come to the Freehold Raceway Mall this May for a day of outreach, awareness, and action regarding mental health.

The CFC Loud and Clear Foundation have organized an event that will feature yoga, meditation, music, guest speakers, community resources, and more to spread awareness for mental health while removing the stigma it typically holds.

This year’s memorial Day Weekend Kickoff concert will feature highlights of the past 20 years of Bob Dylan songs delivered by New Jersey’s own Pat Guadagno, as only he can deliver. Performing with Tired Horses, a ‘curious congregation of extremely talented musicians, who each bring their own individual brand of magic to the stage’. Come down and enjoy the birthday of a musical legend.

This sensational production reunites Four Stars from the Original Cast of Broadway’s Jersey Boys. Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and Tony Award nominee J. Robert Spencer, star in this one-of-a-kind concert experience celebrating the music that defined the ’60s.
These talented entertainers shared the Broadway stage for over a thousand performances in the mega-hit Jersey Boys. Now, as The Midtown Men, they have thrilled crowds on concert stages and symphony halls across the continent, and have delighted television audiences with performances on “Good Morning America,” “Access Hollywood,” “Katie,” and “The Chew.” Additionally, the Men collaborated with rock and roll icon Stevie Van Zandt on their first radio single, “All Alone On Christmas,” featuring Van Zandt and members of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. Come to The Historic Village at Allaire this June to celebrate the marriage of James P. Allaire’s daughter Maria to Thomas Andrews in 1836 at the Allaire Chapel. The reenactment will begin at 1PM, and then there will be cake, dancing, and music afterwards!

Come to Count Basie Theatre this June for a chance to get inspired by world-renowned fitness expert and New Jersey’s born and bred, “Shaun T.”

He is the creator of many popular fitness programs like “Insanity”, and he is focused on affecting positive lifestyle changes in people around the world and proving that becoming the best version of yourself is attainable.

The Bolshoi’s unique version of Coppélia exhibits a fascinating reconstruction of the original 19th century choreography of this ebullient comedy involving a feisty heroine, a boyish fiancée with a wandering eye, and an old dollmaker. The company’s stunning corps de ballet shines in the divertissements and famous “dance of the hours,” and its principals abound in youthful energy and irresistible humor in this effervescent production.

For over a year now, indie rock band Band of Horses has been experiencing huge popularity thanks to three hit albums and popular tour dates. Led by the haunting vocals and emotional songwriting of guitarist Ben Bridwell, Band of Horses is putting their unique spin on indie music marked by subtle synth and keyboards. Band of Horses’ latest album, Infinite Arms, has continued the band’s rise to fame and sparked numerous tour dates in 2011; including those in support of Kings of Leon this summer.

Since the release of “Piano Man” in 1973, Billy Joel has had 33 Top 40 hits spanning 3 decades, all written by the man himself. “Songs In The Attic” is a musical tribute conceived and presented with a tremendous amount of detail and affection for the material by Long Island veteran singer/piano player David Clark. Formed in 2011 and roaring through debut performances in front of thousands of people at the WBAB sponsored Jones Beach Boardwalk bandshell summer concert series, as well as the Nesconset Gazebo summer concert series, David entertains the audience and continues to gain notoriety with stunningly accurate piano playing and lead vocals combined with dynamic and high energy band performances. Shows are at 5:30 and 8:00 pm.

Brad Paisley is country music’s reigning lyricist, guitarist, and vocalist. With hits like “Ticks”, “Alcohol”, and “Online”, Paisley has proven time over time that he knows how to write a catchy song with an amusing hook.

Bring your four-legged friend out for a fun-filled day of splashing & playing! Sunday, September 9th, 3pm – 5pm. Rabies tag & license required.   The Bordatella vaccine (for Kennel Cough-recommended by veterinarians anytime dogs intermingle for a length of time), must be given at least 48 hours prior to this event in order for the vaccine to be effective. Rabies tag is NOT acceptable proof. All dogs must have a collar and a leash must be on hand by owner. Limit one dog per handler, NO aggressive dogs allowed (any dog exhibiting aggressive behavior will be required to leave with no refund). Every owner takes full responsibility for his or her dog at all times. Every owner must provide proof of vaccinations and license within 24 hours upon request.  Advance ticket (not receipt) is required for entry.  Swimming is for dogs only.  Humans should not enter the water past knee depth.  No puppies under 6 months of age are allowed.  Female dogs in season are not allowed.  Paws in the Park will be held rain or shine!

This is a Special Event, not a waterpark admission. Easter passes, coupons, specials and discounts are not valid for admission to this event. Admission is $20 per dog, $10 per handler, and extra guests are $10 each, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the local SPCA.

Once again we will be closing Morris Avenue from Third to Fourth to turn the space into an Italian village. There will be live music with Julian & Dominique , Italian food provided by our member restaurants with a wine and beer garden to give us the al fresco food court that our visitors have come to love.

We are having Face Painting and Balloon Twisting and for the first time at the Italian Festival, a Petting Zoo –it was a big hit at the Irish Festival! The Spaghetti Eating Contest, a crowd favorite, will be back as well. New to the Italian Festival will be the Spring Lake School of Dance performing Italian folk dances – a tremendous draw for families and friends. Not new, but always a draw, is the festival Art Walk that will take place along Third Avenue. There will be music on Third too!

Andrew Anderson, historian at the Double Trouble Village State Historic site will share dramatic slides and video of the labor-intensive dry-picking harvest of cranberries and the modern day water harvest at cranberry farms in New Jersey. A Q&A session will follow this presentation.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE LIVE! 2018 will feature the show’s top 10 finalists Hannahlei Cabanilla, Jay Jay Dixonbey, Chelsea Hough, Evan Debendedetto, Genessy Castillo, Cole Mills, Darius Hickman, Madalena Fialek, Slavik Pustovoytov and Jensen Arnold, plus season 15’s winner, America’s Favorite Dancer, and soon to be announced All-Star guests!

A Charlie Brown Christmas is a classic holiday show that is well-worth seeing each year. Come to Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank to see the show live and hang out with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and Linus. The Peanuts are excited ro see you and your family there!
