Come to Forked River’s Rotary Club’s annual Casino night with a Texas Hold’em showdown

Come to the Historic Village at Allaire in Wall Township this April, for an event that will showcase all that there is to love about dogs! Various forms of entertainment will be there including shopping, games, auctions, etc. There will also be food and information on pet adoptions.

General Event Admission: $3 per person. Under 5 FREE. Proceeds to benefit the Historic Village at Allaire and Rescue Ridge, aiding in the rescue of animals.

Come to the Jenkinson’s Pavillion Restaurant this May for a celebration of teaching and learning! “A Celebration of Boros Best” will be hosted by the Point Pleasant Foundation for Excellence in Education.

The Honorees will be the Teachers of the Year, Student Scholarship Recipients, and for the first time ever Foundation Classroom Grant Winners!

Come to The Historic Village at Allaire this spring to learn about some of Allaire’s history at Camp Burton! You will learn how the Boy Scouts of America and others have utilized this camp throughout history through exploration of the camp, as well as craft demonstrations, games, and demonstrations of life saving skills to name a few.

Come to Point Pleasant this May for the 6th annual “Derby For Declarations” watching the 144th version of the Kentucky Derby! The event will be held in the beautiful, private living room of the 709 South Restaurant with a live stream of the race.

There will be hand rolled cigars, complimentary mint juleps, open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, a large dinner buffet, a raffle with a LOT of awesome prizes and of course the The Best Hat Contest!!!

Celebrate Jersey Fresh and one of our state’s favorite fruits by joining us for our annual Just Peachy Festival on August 4 & 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities for kids, including a ride through the orchards on our tractor-drawn wagons, pony rides, face painting, games and barnyard fun. On Sunday Aug. 5, Schafer’s Sports Center will be here with an interactive tumbling fun area. Enjoy live music each day noon-4pm.

Our “Summer Harvest Farm-to-Fork Tasting” features talented local chefs who will prepare creative dishes using peaches and produce from Terhune Orchards. Visitors can enjoy this special tasting event on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. or as supplies last in our big red barn. The special tasting section is $12 per person. *Restaurant line-up TBD

National Night Out Against Crime & Kids Day Celebration This event features police exhibits and demonstrations, games, information from kids groups and organizations, the Police Camp Graduation and more for the whole family.

Come to The Anchor’s Bend this summer for the 5th year of Asbury Park Surf Music Festival!

The USA’s #1 surf and music event will feature food, drinks, games, and more in addition to all of the surfing fun and live music!

Bring your four-legged friend out for a fun-filled day of splashing & playing! Sunday, September 9th, 3pm – 5pm. Rabies tag & license required.   The Bordatella vaccine (for Kennel Cough-recommended by veterinarians anytime dogs intermingle for a length of time), must be given at least 48 hours prior to this event in order for the vaccine to be effective. Rabies tag is NOT acceptable proof. All dogs must have a collar and a leash must be on hand by owner. Limit one dog per handler, NO aggressive dogs allowed (any dog exhibiting aggressive behavior will be required to leave with no refund). Every owner takes full responsibility for his or her dog at all times. Every owner must provide proof of vaccinations and license within 24 hours upon request.  Advance ticket (not receipt) is required for entry.  Swimming is for dogs only.  Humans should not enter the water past knee depth.  No puppies under 6 months of age are allowed.  Female dogs in season are not allowed.  Paws in the Park will be held rain or shine!

This is a Special Event, not a waterpark admission. Easter passes, coupons, specials and discounts are not valid for admission to this event. Admission is $20 per dog, $10 per handler, and extra guests are $10 each, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the local SPCA.

Featured wineries include, but are not limited to, Artesa, Ruffino, Kim Crawford, Simi, Francis Coppola, Ferrari-Carano, Masi, Vistalba, and Paul Goerg. Wines will be available for purchase by bottle or case. Live entertainment and food is available. Tickets are $30 if purchased in advance, and a souvenir wine glass is included in admission. The Pub Crawl will take place in Downtown Freehold on March 14th. This event will stop at some of the most popular pubs in the town. These include The American Hotel, Federici’s, Court Jester, and Metropolitan Café. There will be bagpipers throughout the places, and guests can choose to participate in either a Beer Crawl or Scotch Crawl. Prices will vary depending on which one participates in. Tickets can be found online and guests must show ID.
