Come to Neptune this April to help or support “heroes on the water”.”H.O.W. are looking for a few good men and women to help us organize there trailer’s. They have added a lot more kayaks, fishing gear and other equipment the past couple years and they’ll be using this time to come up with a design/layout to keep everything organized.
The event is open to both veterans and volunteers.
Come to the Allaire Community Farm in Wall, New Jersey this Spring for The Rotary Club of Belmar Wall and The Allenwood Animal Hospital’s 1st annual “Earth Day Charity Walk.” There will be fun activities for the dogs, as well as the humans.
100% of the proceeds will benefit Allaire Community Farm and the Rotary Club’s Service Dog for a Veteran Campaign.
Full Dimension Crossfit will be hosting “24 hours of CrossFit” this June to benefit the Boys and Girls club of Monmouth County. 24 unique workouts will be presented to teams of six people, one workout per hour for each person on the team.
Food and merchandise will be avalaiable and tickets are limited to the first 20 teams that register!
Attention youth hockey players, come to the “New Jersey Shore Arena” this summer for a transformative experience at the Greg Carter European Hockey Camp, running from July 2nd to July 6th. Emphasis will be placed on edge control, agility, technique, and puck control which are all core skills to great hockey players!
Hero 5k run will take place at 9:30am. Hero ceremonies are at 10:30am. The walk is a 5k walk along the Ocean City boardwalk. We raise awareness of the importance of sober designated drivers. Come down and work out West Atrium at Bell Works for an intense Boot Camp from 11:30-1:30. Each class will be 45 minutes and will incorporates a broad range of cardio, conditioning and core movements. Get ready to sweat on the turf!
In this 2-hour self-defense course women ages 16 and up will be taught basic striking, as well as how to escape from holds, chokes and grabs. Defensive moves are taught from both standing and ground positions. Dan Chandler a 2nd degree black belt and American Top Team Level 3 MMA instructor with years of experience working with kids and adults will lead class. *Please wear comfortable clothes*

The 4th Annual Lobster Run, a 5k to care for the coast, benefiting the American Littoral Society. Join the American Littoral Society and Langosta Lounge for a lobster themed fun run along the Asbury Park boardwalk. The event is for all ages and ability levels. Bring your spouse, kids, nature lovers or outdoor enthusiasts. Form a team with co-workers or denizens of your favorite bar and whet your appetite for brunch at Langosta Lounge. The American Littoral Society promotes the study and conservation of marine life and habitat, protects the coast from harm, and empowers others to do the same.
Kids start and finish at the same location running 1/2 mile south on the Boardwalk and back. Parents are welcome to run or walk with kids, but are not required. Awards will be given to the First, Second and Third place overall boy and girl and in each age group.

Come to Monmouth Museum to see physical therapist Yaffa Liebermann present “I Stand up Straight”. “I Stand up Straight” is a fun and educational picture book that teaches children correct posture through a memorable poem, beautiful illustrations, and easy to follow children exercises. Space is limited with only a 25 person maximum capacity.
Children ages 7 and up are welcome to come to Monmouth Museum for a fun interactive hour of science and learning. Chaperones are required to attend and booking sessions max out after 10!
Come see author Sarah A. Long present her book, “Colors Of The City”. A craft event based off of the book will be held after presentations. Sarah will stick around after the event for any questions.
Run in the shadows of the shore’s iconic music joints, retrace the footsteps of Springsteen, and cruise past the endless beach towns of Ocean Grove, Allenhurst, Deal, Monmouth Beach, Loch Arbour, and Long Branch. Awards will be given for 1st-3rd Males and Females for each of the following age divisions: Ages 19 & under, 20-24 , 25-29 , 30-34, 35-39, 40-44 , 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69. Top 3 finishers 70 and up will receive an award as well.
Please join The American Cancer Fund at its 6th Annual Memorial 5k Run/1 mile Walk for 9/11 First Responder and Jersey City Fire Captain Mark Lee at Liberty State Park.
The run route is a loop through Freehold Township, New Jersey that starts and ends at iPlay America. This is a chip timed race and the terrain is relatively flat and on wide streets.
