Massenet’s enchanting opera Cendrillon, based on Cinderella, premieres at the Met conducted by Bertrand de Billy and directed by Laurent Pelly, whose Met credits include staging Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment and Massenet’s Manon. Joyce DiDonato adds another role to her Met repertory as the title character, a role she has sung to acclaim at the Grand Teatre del Liceu, Santa Fe Opera, and Royal Opera, Covent Garden.
This year’s memorial Day Weekend Kickoff concert will feature highlights of the past 20 years of Bob Dylan songs delivered by New Jersey’s own Pat Guadagno, as only he can deliver. Looking to help those in need? Well Stop by Monmouth University this summer to donate blood to the Central Jersey Blood Center! Donors must be 16 years old (with parental consent) and weigh at least 120 pounds. Please have a valid signature ID when present. Do not forget to eat and drink before donating!
Full Dimension Crossfit will be hosting “24 hours of CrossFit” this June to benefit the Boys and Girls club of Monmouth County. 24 unique workouts will be presented to teams of six people, one workout per hour for each person on the team.
Food and merchandise will be avalaiable and tickets are limited to the first 20 teams that register!
Come to the FirstEnergy Park this June for a tasting of the finest wines in the Garden State. The festival will run for two days on Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10th from 12-5PM. When you visit, you will pass enlisted men cleaning their weapons or idle away their time, and watch the women of the army cook, mend, and wash. You may encounter a drum major drilling his musicians or a court martial. At the parade ground, watch soldiers drill or artillerists fire their cannon. But we must alert you to keep an eye on your children, or the recruiting sergeant may have them drilling with wooden muskets!

Attention youth hockey players, come to the “New Jersey Shore Arena” this summer for a transformative experience at the Greg Carter European Hockey Camp, running from July 2nd to July 6th. Emphasis will be placed on edge control, agility, technique, and puck control which are all core skills to great hockey players!
Come to Asbury this summer for a Vegan pop-up shop that will feature some of the best vegan food that the shore has to offer! $5 Tickets will get you admission into the event in Asbury, while if you pay $20 you will get admission into the event in Morristown where there will be another pop-up, BUT you must be 21 years or older, as the event will be held in a bar.
Come to the Oak Tree Lodge this September graduating Wall High School class of 2018. The 10 year reunion of your class will be celebrated with picnic style food, soft drinks, and beer!
This event will only happen though if at least 100 people sign up, so tell your fellow classmates and bring members of your family with you!
