Independence Day Fireworks at Dusk (Rain Date 7/8/18)

Come to The Historic Village at Allaire this June to celebrate the marriage of James P. Allaire’s daughter Maria to Thomas Andrews in 1836 at the Allaire Chapel. The reenactment will begin at 1PM, and then there will be cake, dancing, and music afterwards!

Mark your calendars for Doggy Yappy Hour! This dog friendly event will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on June 13, 2014 at Ocean County Park in Lakewood, NJ, US. Sponsored by Ocean County Parks & Recreation. Admission is Free.

The Ocean County Family Success Center in partnership with Eva O’Malley of TRI-CHAAD NJ offers a free support group for parents that have children with challenging behavior. With a commitment to the accurate reproduction of The Beatles’ repertoire, The Fab Faux treat the seminal music with unwavering respect, and are known for their painstaking recreations of the songs. Calling all bacon lovers! Join us for our 3rd annual Bacon, Bike and Brew Festival!

June 23rd and 24th, 11 am to 5 pm.

Bring your friends, family and your dog for fun a weekend of great food, beer, activities and live music.

Allaire Bacon, Bikes & Brews will feature:

• Beer Tent with high top tables (Only 21 yrs old and older in the beer tent)

• Award winning food trucks featuring Bacon menu items

• Children Activities

• Tours of the Historic Buildings

• Craft Vendors

This event is a fundraiser for the Historic Village at Allaire to support our educational programming.

Parking is FREE

General admission is $10 per person, children under 18 are free.

Tickets for beer will be sold at the entrance to the beer garden.

No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to enter the beer garden.

Children and pets are welcome, but they may not enter the beer garden.

Advanced registration is strongly recommended! Reduce your wait time by purchasing tickets in advance via EventBrite. You will receive electronic tickets. Be sure to have your ID ready if you pre-purchased tickets, and for entrance to the beer tent.

This event is a fundraiser for The Historic Village at Allaire, a non-profit museum that receives no funding from the State of New Jersey.

* Bike racks will be set up at the entrances around the historic village (bring a lock).

* Bikes will not be allowed to ride through the middle of the event for safety reasons

The Bolshoi’s unique version of Coppélia exhibits a fascinating reconstruction of the original 19th century choreography of this ebullient comedy involving a feisty heroine, a boyish fiancée with a wandering eye, and an old dollmaker. The company’s stunning corps de ballet shines in the divertissements and famous “dance of the hours,” and its principals abound in youthful energy and irresistible humor in this effervescent production.

Registration at Wildwood’s Convention Center from 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. No entries accepted after 5:30 p.m. Judging occurs while participants are lined up in the circle in front of the Convention Center. Line-up begins at 5:30 p.m., parade steps off at 6 p.m. SHARP with final route TBD.  Baby Parade Winners are announced following the parade. FREE to register. On Sunday Aug. 5, Schafer’s Sports Center will be here with an interactive tumbling fun area. Enjoy live music each day noon-4pm.

Our “Summer Harvest Farm-to-Fork Tasting” features talented local chefs who will prepare creative dishes using peaches and produce from Terhune Orchards. Visitors can enjoy this special tasting event on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. or as supplies last in our big red barn. The special tasting section is $12 per person. *Restaurant line-up TBD

Cooking demonstrations and lively discussions will be held on both days at 2 p.m. with two very special guest presenters. You will love the internationally inflected, peachy inspiration from these fun and tasty programs.

Event takes place from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. in front of the Ice House Restaurant, 4415 Park Blvd. in Wildwood, featuring a block party atmosphere with “crabby” fun for the entire family! Festival includes bushels of blue claw crabs, a beer garden, “must try” crabby bloody marys, vendors and exciting things for the kids including a crab race at 6 p.m.
