With a commitment to the accurate reproduction of The Beatles’ repertoire, The Fab Faux treat the seminal music with unwavering respect, and are known for their painstaking recreations of the songs. Far beyond a cover band, they play the music of The Beatles so impeccably that one must experience it to believe it. Imagine hearing complex material like “Strawberry Fields Forever” or “I Am the Walrus” performed in complete part-perfect renditions; or such harmony-driven songs as “Because”, “Nowhere Man”, and “Paperback Writer”, reproduced not only note- for-note, but with extra vocalists to achieve a double-tracked effect. Approaching the songs with the intent of playing them live as accurately in musical reading and in spirit as possible, The Faux’s breathtaking performances tend to dispel all concertgoers’ previous notions of a Beatles tribute act.
Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Lyrics by Tim Rice
A Rock Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire. This iconic 1970’s rock score contains such well-known numbers as “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.”

Formed in 2011 and roaring through debut performances in front of thousands of people at the WBAB sponsored Jones Beach Boardwalk bandshell summer concert series, as well as the Nesconset Gazebo summer concert series, David entertains the audience and continues to gain notoriety with stunningly accurate piano playing and lead vocals combined with dynamic and high energy band performances. Shows are at 5:30 and 8:00 pm.
The music was born in the summer of 1969 at the famous “Woodstock Music Festival” in New York. It was when David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash hit the stage, that the face of folk/rock music would be changed forever. Their legacy continued throughout the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. The harmonious vocals that “Crosby Stills Nash & Young” are so well known for, are heard in every song performed by “CSNsongs”.
