Ho Ho Ho! The Asbury Park Santa Run returns for its third year to lead thousands of Santas through the streets of Asbury Park on December 8th. Run (or walk) a 5K course in support of local charity Lunch Break and cross the finish line into an epic after party featuring live music by Brian Kirk & The Jirks at The Stone Pony! Monmouth University hosts the Monmouth University Collegiate Invitational men’s and women’s track and field meet. This will be the Hawks first home meet of 2019.
Come support the Monmouth University Hawks Women’s Basketball team as they face off against the Manhattan College Jaspers. The game starts at 7 o’clock and tickets range from $10-25, depending on seating. There are concession stands within the facilities. Go Hawks!

Monmouth University Men’s Lacrosse team hosts Princeton University for their 2019 season opener. The Hawks met the Tigers in the 2018 season where they fought to a double overtime loss (8,9).
Monmouth University’s softball team takes on Wagner University at their home opener for the 2019 season. The Hawks haven’t faced the Seahawks since the 2017 season where they won their first game 4-3, and took the second game to 11 innings in a 3-5 loss.

The event showcases the tremendous talent OceanMHS has discovered from individuals suffering with mental illness. This is an opportunity to eliminate barriers and misconceptions surrounding mental health, encourage positive conversations to reduce stigma, and shed light on the changing climate of mental health treatment in NJ. The event will contain paintings and drawings, mixed media, and several forms of creative expression provided by children and adults seeking services at OceanMHS.

Guests may bring their own standard or in-line skates or they can rent them from our facility. Admission fee is $5 per person. Skate rental is $2 for traditional skates and $4 for in-line skates. Admission for non-skaters is $2. Skaters can take a break from the rink and enjoy soft drinks, water, and light snacks at the concession stand.
*Teen skate is $5 for skaters and non-skaters.
Scheduling is available for birthday skate parties and private events.

The Monmouth University baseball team hosts Seton Hall University for their first home game of the 2019 season. The Hawks met the Pirates last season on the road, April 18th 2018, where they took home a big 10-3 win.
In this 2-hour self-defense course women ages 16 and up will be taught basic striking, as well as how to escape from holds, chokes and grabs. Defensive moves are taught from both standing and ground positions. Dan Chandler a 2nd degree black belt and American Top Team Level 3 MMA instructor with years of experience working with kids and adults will lead class. *Please wear comfortable clothes*
