A joyous program of music by some of the greatest composers of all time—Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Wagner, and others.
The MU Chamber Orchestra, comprising students, faculty, staff, and administrators, performs a variety of compositions from the classical repertory. This spring concert also features music for chamber ensembles from within the orchestra-solos, duos, trios, quintets.

This show was originally scheduled for April 7th all tickets for the original date will be honored on April 18, 2019 at 7:30pm. Refunds will be offered until February 1st.

IN THE MOOD is a celebration of the music of the 1930s & 40s – the Big Band era. It was the last time that all Americans were listening and dancing to the same kind of music. With our live sensational 13 piece String of Pearls Big Band Orchestra and our fabulous IN THE MOOD Singers and Dancers, the great melodies and lyrics that are still with us today are presented in a musical revue that is jazzy, sentimental, rhythmic, nostalgic and patriotic – all happening at the same time. Largest kite festival in North America held on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Event begins on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event outside of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festivities following include opening of the kite sales tent, a Friday night social via the local kite club and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly. Saturday includes the silent and loud auctions (open to all) and Saturday & Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, sport kite demo’s, team flying as well as family games. Monday features the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. FREE to spectators.
