You can also bring your dogs and register them for the Strut Your Mutt Doggie Costume Contest!
The Fall Festival will feature arts & crafts, touch a truck, bouncy rides, a costumed pooch parade, a kids costume parade, and craft vendors! There will also be a DJ present the entire day as well as costume characters! The shops of Pier Village and Chamber of Commerce trailer will be participating in trick-or-treating so come prepared to bring home candy!
Register your pooch online for the costume pooch parade! Pooch Parade will begin at 12PM with the line-up starting at 11:30AM. Kids Costume Parade will begin at 2PM.
The exhibition includes oral histories presented on listening devices, interactive activities, artifacts, internet and print resources, and preparedness education.
Those involved in the exhibit spent much of the year collecting photographs and artifacts and conducting oral history interviews in order to allow all interested parties– from your average Monmouth County citizen, to scientists, to the County Freeholders — to recall the storm in their own words.

Come to the Asbury Park Convention Hall this April on one of Jersey’s most historic boardwalks for the Inaugural Catsbury Park Cat Convention! The two day event will bring together cat lovers and some of social media’s favorite felines alike! Informative sessions and seminars will be held by respected advocates and speakers on behalf of cat rescue, health and behavior, and cat related products plus innovative merchandise will be available to purchase from vendors.
Fun games like Cat Trivia, Cat Bingo, and the Cat Art show will be available for children 12 and under at the Convention Hall. However, tickets to these events MUST be purchased separately.
Children under 3 years old attend FREE.
“Dining For Adoptables”, will be the first annual fundraised benfiting the Assoicated Humance Society which is a animal shelter in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
Tickets online are $30, while tickets on site will be $35. Kids under six years old attend FREE.
There will be a wide variety of local restaurants and sweet shops giving out samples of their yummy food and tasty treats, a Cash Bar!!(for those 21+ in age), a Tricky Tray of awesome baskets for auction, and a 50/50 auction!!!!
Come to The Historic Village at Allaire this spring to learn about some of Allaire’s history at Camp Burton! You will learn how the Boy Scouts of America and others have utilized this camp throughout history through exploration of the camp, as well as craft demonstrations, games, and demonstrations of life saving skills to name a few.

Bring your four-legged friend out for a fun-filled day of splashing & playing! Sunday, September 9th, 3pm – 5pm. Rabies tag & license required. The Bordatella vaccine (for Kennel Cough-recommended by veterinarians anytime dogs intermingle for a length of time), must be given at least 48 hours prior to this event in order for the vaccine to be effective. Rabies tag is NOT acceptable proof. All dogs must have a collar and a leash must be on hand by owner. Limit one dog per handler, NO aggressive dogs allowed (any dog exhibiting aggressive behavior will be required to leave with no refund). Every owner takes full responsibility for his or her dog at all times. Every owner must provide proof of vaccinations and license within 24 hours upon request. Advance ticket (not receipt) is required for entry. Swimming is for dogs only. Humans should not enter the water past knee depth. No puppies under 6 months of age are allowed. Female dogs in season are not allowed. Paws in the Park will be held rain or shine!
This is a Special Event, not a waterpark admission. Easter passes, coupons, specials and discounts are not valid for admission to this event. Admission is $20 per dog, $10 per handler, and extra guests are $10 each, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the local SPCA.
The popular Holiday Model Trains display will once again be on display in the Main Gallery of the Monmouth Museum. This is one of the most unique Train Exhibitions in the world because it is surrounded by an International Juried Art Exhibition, this year’s theme is, Fabulous Food! The trains have 6 lines on 3 levels, with over 1200 scale feet of track. The model train layout includes an airport and Jersey Shore seaside boardwalk amusement park. Much of the community is represented by the various real estate named for local businesses and families. The Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders assemble the Holiday Model Trains and create numerous upgrades and additions to this ever-expanding display. The exhibition is designed for kids of all ages, with interactive buttons accessible for their height.
