
The musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol is the timeless tale of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who hates Christmas. Shocked into action by visits from three ghosts that take him on a journey to the past, present, and the future; Scrooge discovers the true meaning of Christmas. The music and dancing of A Christmas Carol will help put everyone in the holiday spirit!

Runner’s High is going to do another awesome workshop for us Mamas! Craig who is the owner of the store is going to go over the best footwear and will tell you what he recommends for your type of foot if you would like and running style as well as breathing techniques and stretches. We will meet at the store in Freehold at 7:00. After head to Tre’ to hang out and relax for some mommy time! Wear workout clothes or comfortable clothing as we will actually be doing the stretches and some dynamic warm up exercises with him. Book those babysitters and let’s enjoy a night out together.

Two Irish poets, Eleanor Hooker and Clodagh Beresford Dunne will read from their works. Eleanor Hooker is a poet and writer. In February 2016, her flash fiction The Lesson was awarded 1st Prize in the Bare Fiction Flash Fiction competition in the UK. Her poetry has been published in literary journals internationally. Clodagh Beresford Dunne was the recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland Emerging-Writer Award Bursary, 2016. Her poems have appeared in Irish and international print and online journals, including Poetry Ireland Review, The Irish Times, The Stinging Fly, Southword, The Moth, The Pickled Body, Spontaneity and Pittsburgh Poetry Review.

In 1735, Mother Leeds was about to deliver her thirteenth child. Feeling tired and weary of the burden, she cursed the unborn child. According to the folklore, she gave birth to the devil’s child at their home in the Pine Barrens. Today, the tale of Jersey Devil is often discussed as just that – a tale. However, during the time of the fabled Jersey Devil’s reign of terror, South Jersey residents were truly frightened. How the accounts were reported on and the folklore that developed will be discovered.

Kids will hunt for colored eggs and upon opening each egg, they will
perform the exercise stated.
Kids ages 5-8 will hunt for 10 eggs
Kids ages 9-12 will hunt for 15 eggs
Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age group. All participants will receive an Easter-themed prize.

The final training run of the NJ Marathon Training Run Series will begin at 7AM (Full Marathon) and 8AM (Half Marathon) at Corner Cafe & Bistro (10 Centennial Drive / Pier Village, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
Aid stations will be supplied along the route and have pacers to help lead runners supplied by NJM Pace Team Coordinator Otto Lam. Post-run, enjoy 10% off your coffee and food at Corner Cafe & bistro.

HALF DISTANCE: 12 miles

For those of you who like fine print, here are additional details:
* Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the run in order to familiarize yourself with our group run leaders, the course, location of water stations, etc.
* Parking is free!
* We recommend everyone run with a handheld with at least 16oz of water, and we will provide water/Gatorade along the course for refills.
* The first water stop will be at the park on Long Branch Ave between North Broadway and South Broadway shortly after Mile 5, which is just a short distance from the Start/Finish. (see map below).
* The second water stop will be on Ocean Ave at the corner of Phillips Ave, which is shortly after Mile 9 (outbound), and close to Mile 13 (inbound) sections of the actual race course.

Come to Manasquan High School in April to get inspired by your local eighth graders! Our 8th grade leaders at Spring Lake Heights Elementary School present an amazing evening of inspring talks that challenge perspectives, open minds, and motivate change.
Hosted by by Every Voice Educates/SLH Elementary School, there will be plenty of inspiration from our students, guest speakers, and local leaders centered around topics like how sports impact students and their identities, how to ease teen anxiety, etc.
There will also be a fashion show!
