Based on the 1991 Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Beauty and the Beast, the musical, features music by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, book by Linda Wolverton. Including memorable new songs in addition to familiar ones from the animated version such as “Be Our Guest”, “Gaston”, and the title song “Beauty and the Beast”.

The story of Beauty and the Beast is set in a provincial small town in France, and features a beautiful and bright young heroine named Belle, her handsome and loutish suitor Gaston, a cursed young prince and an enchanted castle. The morals of the story are: true beauty is more than skin deep, and love has a redemptive power. A romantic fairy tale fantasy for audience of all ages!

Using puppets, masks, inventive scenic effects and original music, Enchantment Theatre Company is delighted to bring you the story of a compassionate and courageous young boy and his unlikely friendship with a splendid yellow and blue-striped dragon.

Brianna, a charming and curious girl, hops into an ‘adventure-through-the-seasons’ in Spring-A-Ding-DING! A colorful cast of characters create the vivid enchantment of springtime. Jump-roping frogs, twirling flowers, dancing birds, glittering rain showers and even a contortionist earthworm bring the budding season to life!

The drama centers around Randle Patrick McMurphy as he is transferred for evaluation from a prison farm to a mental institution. While he assumes it will be a less restrictive environment, he soon discovers Nurse Ratched runs the psychiatric ward with an iron fist, keeping her patients cowed through abuse, medication and sessions of electroconvulsive therapy. The battle of wills between the rebellious McMurphy and the inflexible Ratched soon affects all the ward’s patients.

The plot is simple: a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all “little old ladies”) out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously offensive “Springtime for Hitler”), hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction. At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends.
